While surfing the internet today, I came across some news that the Rugrats, one of the three first Nicktoons, is returning to Nickelodeon. While I was skeptical at first, I checked my TV listings and found that this is in fact true.
Two episodes of the Rugrats are scheduled to air Monday, December 27, at 9:00am and 9:30am. The episodes are
#92, “Chuckie’s Duckling / A Dog’s Life” and #93, “Chuckerfly / Angelica’s Twin”, both of which originally aired in 1999.
My personal TV listings don't show the Rugrats airing anytime after that, but this quote was taken from an article on the website nickandmore.com:
"The Rugrats Movie (1998) is also scheduled to air on Nick@Nite on Sunday, December 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

While I cannot confirm that Rugrats will air Tuesday-Friday that week, or that the Rugrats Movie will air Sunday, all TV Listings have the show on for Monday, so watch it if you can. There have been rumors flying in the recent weeks that many old Nickelodeon shows (Clarissa, Catdog, etc.) will be returning come January, so I'll keep you all posted.
